At Sunup Cycles we believe that every bike deserves to be serviced with care and attention to detail. If you drop your bike into the shop we can talk through some servicing options and draw up a quote to meet the budget and the brief. Our servicing expertise extends from classic road, touring and rigid mountain bikes up to modern whizz-bang road bikes, and we’ve got particular passion for commuting, touring and bikepacking. We love mountain bikes but aren’t equipped to service suspension, although we’ll happily remove, send away to a suspension servicing workshop and then re -install your fork or shock. We are more than happy to service pedal assist (not throttled) E-bikes, but only the mechanical side of them (tyres, brakes, gears, wheels, bearings, accessories, fit and comfort etc). We can’t help with electrical issues (battery charging issues, power delivery, error codes, broken wiring, motor failures or faults, motor related noises etc).

Servicing
Every bike and rider is different! We provide an obligation-free quote for your approval for every service job big and small. Turn around is usually not more than 2-3 days. If you want same-day completion, please get in touch in advance. And we stand behind our work, any issues immediately after a service can usually be sorted whilst you wait at no extra cost.

Courtesy Bikes
We can set you up with a courtesy bike to keep you on the road whilst your bike is in the shop. Please notify us in advance if you’ll be needing one and what size bike you’ll be needing. We can help with providing or attaching certain accessories to the courtesy bike so you can continue your standard commute.

We like to let you know what we did to improve your bike’s ridability, so we keep thorough notes of the work done and any components fitted to your bike, along with any recommendations for future upgrades and service intervals.
